Listen and read as your tutor reads out Arisa's response aloud. At the end, you will answer three short questions.

I'm going to talk about the time I bought my husband a watch. It was about 10 years ago. He was about to turn 30, so I bought it for him for his birthday. I spent a lot of time looking in department stores for the right one and finally found a nice one in a jewelry store in the local shopping mall.

It was on sale, which was great! So I felt like I had gotten a bargain.

However, when I got it home I found that it wasn't working properly. I had kept the receipt, so I took it back to the shop and got a refund. I didn't want to buy another one from that shop as I was worried it wouldn't work either. Luckily, I found another one online, so I bought that instead.

When my husband finally opened his birthday present, I felt great because he was very happy! I obviously made the right choice because it really suits him. It also fits him well. He still wears it now, and that's about 10 years later!
