A Hard Lesson to Learn

Jacob set out to start his own business and found that it was not as easy as he thought. He had to take on a lot of new responsibilities and he invested all of his time into it. Several years later, his business finally started to flourish, but Jacob didn't have time to enjoy his own success; he was too occupied with his work. A few more years passed, when his business slowly started to fade. A big corporation showed up and took over all of his clients. Jacob was desperate, thinking about all the time he had wasted. That's when he realized that it didn't matter whether he was rich or poor, as long as he spent his time in a meaningful way. So, he took his wife out for dinner, for the first time in months.
