Read the dialogue aloud with your tutor.

Liam and Sophie talk about pets.
	Sophie Wow, Liam , I didn’t know you had a dog. When did you get it?
	Liam You didn’t? I got it last summer. Usually, we go for a walk at another park. Maybe that’s why.
	Sophie That must be it. And why is that?
	Liam Well, it’s because this park is farther from my house. So we only come to this park on the weekends.
	Sophie I see. You know, many people only take dogs on very short walks. They don’t care enough about their pet’s needs.
	Liam I absolutely agree. But I know some people who take very good care of their pets. For instance, my neighbors walk their cat from time to time. It gets to go outside and play in the grass.
	Sophie That’s unusual. Most cats usually stay in the house.
	Liam They are animals, too. They are no different from dogs; they need fresh air as well.
