What's the average life expectancy in your country?
I think it's around 78 for men and 83 for women — something like that.
Do you know anyone who's aged really well?
Yep, my grandma! She's in her early 90s but still very active. She still drives everywhere and takes care of all the household chores. How about you?
My grandma is exactly the same. She's in her late 80s and still plays tennis!
That's quite something! What do you think are the best ways to slow the aging process?
It's pretty simple I think. You've got to stay active, maintain a balanced diet and avoid bad habits like smoking.
As well as that, I think staying curious and continuing to learn is super important because it keeps your mind sharp.
Oh absolutely! You've always got to keep learning! What advice would you give to your younger self?
Get out of your comfort zone! I didn't do this enough as a young person, and I regret not saying "yes" to things more often. I also used to dwell on my mistakes, when I should have just moved on from them.
That's so true — it's important to be kind to yourself. I wish I had pursued my passions when I was in my 20s instead of focusing so much on my career.
