Trailer for Latest Grand Theft Auto Game Released
It has been more than 10 years since the release of Grand Theft Auto 5, one of the most popular video games ever made.
And now Rockstar Games, the maker of Grand Theft Auto, or GTA, has posted the trailer for the next game in the series. It has already become the most-viewed video game trailer in 24 hours, getting more than 90 million views in that time.
GTA 5 has sold around 185 million copies, and video game fans around the world are looking forward to getting their hands on the latest GTA game.
Rockstar Games announced in February 2022 that GTA 6 was being made, although it's not due to be released until 2025.
Some fans had already seen images from the new game after a leak last year, but for others the 90-second trailer gave them a first look at a new world.
From both the trailer and previous leaks, people have been able to work out that GTA 6 will feature main characters named Lucia and Jason.
According to the website Games Radar, the trailer also shows a number of new locations for players to explore.
In fact, some fans have spent hours trying to create a map of all the featured areas, based on the leaks, the trailer and other information.
They'll have lots more time to discuss ideas before the game comes out for the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X and Series S in 2025.
It may later be released for PC, but Rockstar Games has not given any date for this.
The first GTA game was released in 1997, and many more games and spinoffs have followed over the years.
An online only version, GTA Online, also came out in 2013, and is still popular today.
