Abby's Job at a Toy Store
Abby is a high school student. Her school ends in June, so she wanted to work during the summer. There was a toy store in the shopping mall near her house, and it was her favorite store. Abby got a job there and started working.
One day, Abby met a young boy. He asked her, "Do you have stuffed toys?" "Yes, we do," Abby said, and she took him to the section. He stood there for a while, and he didn't buy anything. He came again the next day, and the day after that, too. He went to the same section but didn't buy anything.
A month later, the boy came again, and this time, he was with a little girl. He took her to the stuffed toys. "You wanted this, right?" He showed her a teddy bear. "Yes, but this is expensive," the girl said. Abby walked up to them. "You are our 1,000th customer, so you get one toy for free!" Abby said. Later she paid the money herself.
