Attack of the Roller Zombie!

A couple months ago my good friend Monica (aka Roller Girl code name: Whipstick of The Junkyard Dolls) asked me to do a poster for one of the Charm City Roller Girls bouts: I have to say I was pretty nervous – their bout posters are always some of my favorite designs / illustrations that I see plastered on walls and cork-boards throughout Baltimore, and I didn’t really know what to do… so I said what the hell, yes! Whipstick was kind enough to pose for a photo holding a nice severed halloween leg (yes, with a rental skate), and then I made this illustration which Roller Girl Quickshot Kitty (also of The Junkyard Dolls clan) turned into a killer poster design. Hope you like it!

P.S. – Here’s some iPhone & iPad wallpapers for all your mobile wallpaper appetites: enjoy!

Presentar el Niño Caroperro

This past Wed. night was the 1st Loteria de Amor show at DC’s Palace of Wonders and it was loads of fun! Baltimore’s own twisted son Paco Fish juggled and then transformed himself from a hobo into a demon, along with some incredible fire-eating / dancing gals from DC… just some good ol’ fashion Burlesque! Thanks to everyone who came out for the show, the next one is going to be August 11th and even more in the fall, so keep checking the Palace of Wonders Calendar for future dates.
Here’s my entry into the Loteria show: el Niño Caroperro (or the Dog-Faced Boy), also an iPhone wallpaper size for you to download is right here.
