What a splendid specimen of sitcom memorabilia to be the inaugural item in The Museum of Magnificent Lore’s Permanent Collection. A generous gift of fine art connoisseurs and moped enthusiasts, Tanner Almon and Vicki Yasuoka, this rare artifact reminds us of a much simpler time–when television wasn’t about trophy housewives, or frivolous talent contests, but about family values, laughter, love, and neighbors nick-named ‘Boner.’ This trading card set circa 1988 features 9 picture cards and 1 sticker from the hit show, along with a stick of bubble gum–which was often the custom of the day to include gum that retained little-to-no flavor with anything collectible. Gum ingredients listed on back of package as: Dextrose, Corn Syrup, Gum Base, Softeners, Natural & Artifical Flavors, Artifical Colors, and BHT (to maintain softness).
