New ML design & some new illustrations

Just a quick update for all those interested or kind-of-sort-of interested in updates. NEW header & footer design are now LIVE for this site (hope you like it). Also, NEW illustrations (& some old ones too) can now now be found in my Portfolio: more to come soon I hope!

A quick geeky-tech-tidbit for the extra geeky-web-nerds (like myself): I just experimented with using one of the Google Web Fonts for my site: its called Vollkorn, and I’m using it in both the Post titles & the Navigation Bar. I think it looks pretty awesome & fits well with Georgia (the standard font I use throughout the site). Its exciting to have this directory of FREE fonts available to use on sites I design now: I really think its going to open up more creative options for the work I make and I can’t wait to see what new fonts they’ll be making available, let alone what other super-talented designers (like yourselves) come up with.
