Read the dialogue aloud with your tutor.

David is renewing his driver’s license.
	David Good afternoon, officer. I'm here to renew my driver's license.
	Police Officer Good afternoon, sir. Could I please see your current license?
	David Here you go, it expired two weeks ago.
	Police Officer We prefer to issue new driver's licenses before the old one expires. I'm afraid you will have to fill out an application form for a new license.
	David Oh really? I'm sorry, I didn't know.
	Police Officer That's all right, just make sure you come in a little bit earlier next time. If you bring it in while it's still valid there are fewer forms to fill out, and it's cheaper.
	David I see. How much will it cost me?
	Police Officer Normally it would only be $25. But because it's a new application, you will have to pay a fee of $50.
	David Okay. Here you go.
David pays the fee.
	Police Officer Thank you. Would you like a receipt?
