The World's Top Destinations for Joggers
If you're someone who doesn't like to sit still even when you're on holiday, "run-seeing" could be for you.
It's a different way of sightseeing in a new city: you don't need to sit on a bus or join a walking tour — you can just put on your running shoes and see the sights!
Some runners may plan a trip around a big race — they see there's a marathon taking place in Berlin, so they decide to combine the race with a holiday in the city.
Others choose their destination based on how good it is for running. Perhaps there are lots of parks and trails, or a beautiful running route by the sea.
And now a clothing company has found the top five "bucket list" destinations for runners.
Oceansapart, which makes sports clothes for women, took 50 popular destinations and found out how many running trails each one had.
And at the top of the list was sunny Sydney, with more than 700 running trails.
Here you can enjoy views of places like Bondi Beach and the famous Opera House — but get ready to sweat, because these trails are quite hilly!
Next came London, with more than 600 trails.
London is also the home of "parkrun" — weekend 2-kilometer and 5-kilometer runs that now happen in parks around the world. The first of these free running events took place in London in 2004, and there are now more than 60 parkruns in and around the city.
Hawaii, Hong Kong and Budapest were also in the top five.
