Taylor Swift is the richest female musician in the world, according to Forbes, with an estimated worth of $1.6 billion.
Swift's Eras tour has so far earned over $1 billion since it began in March 2023, making it the highest grossing tour in history.
According to Pollstar, each show in her tour has brought in over $17 million in ticket sales. And it's estimated that fans have so far spent over $200 million on the tour's merchandise, too.
When the tour finishes in December, Swift will have played 149 shows.
She also has almost $600 million from music royalties and other concerts, and her music catalog is worth around $600 million, too.
Taylor Swift is the first musician to become a billionaire just from music, and not from other businesses or projects.
Before Taylor Swift, the richest female musician in the world was "We Found Love" singer Rihanna, who has an estimated worth of $1.4 billion.
But Rihanna didn't become a billionaire from her music — her last album was released in 2016, and she has only released a few songs since then.
Her successful makeup company Fenty Beauty, and her underwear company Savage x Fenty, are what have made the singer a billionaire.
The world's richest musician, male or female, is Beyoncé's husband Jay-Z, who is worth $2.5 billion.
The rapper has his own business selling alcohol, and also has shares in other successful companies like Uber.
Beyoncé herself isn't a billionaire, though — she's worth $760 million. And like Swift, most of her money comes from music.
